MAKING OF THE PILLOW

STEP 1:

Take measurement of your foam. Mark on your fabric the circumference of the foam. Add your fabric allowance to allow the fabric to lay on top of the foam, as you need it to cover the bottom when you gather the fabric. I prefer a round shape vs a square shape, however you can use either shape.

STEP 2:

Depending on the thickness you prefer and the size of your felt, lay the felt on top of the foam. For the ones I created I used 4 pieces of felt to give the center some height

STEP 3:

Use a basic running stich on the fabric. I prefer a thicker seam allowance. Once you make it all around you can lay the fabric over the felt/foam and pull snug. Tie off and adjust the gathers as needed. You can add a piece of cardboard on the bottom of the fabric if you wish to make the bottom flat

Congratulations you have made a basic cookie!
